Sample Itinerary
Join us in Washington, D.C. over Memorial Day Weekend to honor our veterans!
Choirs, orchestras, and bands from throughout the United States will perform in tribute to the men and women of the Armed Forces and celebrate the many freedoms we enjoy today. There is no greater place and time to honor America’s heroes.
Day One
- Arrive in Washington, DC
- Meet your Tour Manager, who will escort you through the duration of your activities
- Sightseeing may include a panoramic tour of Historic Washington, D.C.
- Check into the hotel
- Dinner at a local restaurant
- Take an evening walking tour of the Lincoln, Vietnam, Korean, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Martin Luther King, and National World War II Memorials, as well as a view of the outside of the Washington Monument
- Return to the hotel for overnight

Day Two
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Take a tour of one of the Smithsonian Institution Museums
- Lunch, on own
- Take a walk along Pennsylvania Avenue for a view of the White House
(White House visits must be requested through a member of Congress) - Visit Capitol Hill and see the Supreme Court and Capitol buildings
- Perform in the National Memorial Day Concert Series*
- Dinner at a local restaurant
- Attend the National Memorial Day Concert on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, featuring a performance by the National Symphony Orchestra (no reserved seating)
- Return to the hotel for overnight

Day Three
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Visit the Thomas Jefferson Memorial and the Marine Corps Iwo Jima War Memorial
- Take a tour of Arlington National Cemetery and participate in the special U.S. Military Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown*
- Lunch, on own
- View the National Memorial Day Parade along Historic Constitution Avenue
- Late afternoon departure for home
